We are delighted to announce the re-opening of the Clubhouse and back to racing from Saturday 13th June, under conditions that will ensure the health and safety of our Members, and staff.
Big thank you to Australian Sailing for all their hard working getting us back racing far earlier than many expected. Please follow the guidelines so we can continue to sail.

With the return to sailing we need to practice social distancing to

Please remember that the reopening of licensed venues across New South Wales has come with extremely strict regulation. Whether we all agree with them is immaterial - they are the rules in place and we all have to abide by them. The regulations will be communicated prior to each race as the conditions can and will change.

Points to Follow

  • If you feel unwell at all DO NOT come to the club
  • Each person entering the club must have the Covid 19 APP active
  • Each person must be signed into onboard and if attending the club and not sailing be signed into the club.
  • At the end of the race could all skippers drop off as many crew as possible to the dock. The tender has been marked and can only carry 6 at one time.
  • Only 10 max per boat but still practicing the 1.5 meter social distancing rule. This may mean your boat may not carry a full crew to comply with this health order.
  • Keep a distance of 1.5 metres where reasonably practicable. Passing in the cockpit or on deck is permitted; ie- Sitting close to other people on the rail of a yacht is not maintaining social distancing, but working together to tack, gybe or round a mark is acceptable.
  • Practice good hand hygiene before and after sailing.
  • Arrive dressed ready to sail no change rooms available.
  • Bring your own water bottle, towel and other personal equipment to avoid sharing where possible;
  • Skippers to provide hand wash/sanitizer and ensure crew know the current COVID rules and restrictions;
