Such sad news was received this week of the passing of our very first Long Serving Legend George Birdsall.

George was a loved member of the club with his many boats especially Mother Bird.

The club will race our first race back in Georges Honour.

Passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021. Late of Cronulla. Aged 93 years.

A life well lived.

Loving Husband of June (deceased), much loved Father and Father-in-Law of George and Chrissy, Lyn and Geoff, Bill and Kai and Penny; and their Children and Grandchildren

Due to COVID Restrictions, a private memorial service will be held.

He will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Royal Society for the Blind.
